We are currently recruiting for this year’s annual charity walk from Wrexham to the Brick Community Stadium. The walk will take place on Friday 11th April to Saturday 12th April, arriving at the stadium in time to watch Wigan Athletic’s home game with Wrexham.

You need to be able to get to the Brick Community Stadium at 6am on Friday 11th, after which we will catch a coach to Wrexham and start walking back. We will be walking 29 miles on the Friday and 15 miles on Saturday with a (self-funded) overnight stay in Widnes.

These walks usually attract between 50 and 60 people and raise between £20,000 and £30,000 of much needed funds for Joseph’s Goal. Your feet will hurt but it is a great experience and an opportunity to give something back towards a very rare and serious genetic disease.

Do you want to know more? Please email us at walk4joseph@gmail.com and we will send you the details!

VOLUNTEERING: Do you want to get involved but aren’t keen on walking? We are looking for volunteer(s) to transport bags and follow the route in a vehicle to pick up any struggling walkers. Again, please contact walk4joseph@gmail.com if you wish to get involved
