Welcome to the new season and another year of the Mudhutter. Needless to say we kick off proceedings with a bit of dissection of the past few months, with quite a bit of inside insight as to what actually went on. We’ve got plenty of other stuff in there too, as Bernard reviews his trip to Sheffield FC, amongst other things and we look ahead to the Blackpool game in the form of an interview with Jane Stuart of the Blackpool fanzine, Now That’s What I Call Progress. As you’d expect, we also cover all the diverse topics you dearly need to read about such as the demise of the Watney Cup, working nights and the curious genre of printed magazines for, ahem grown men.
It’s good to be back and, as ever, we have to say a massive thanks to the 150 odd people who have subscribed in full for the season, your mags are in the post / inbox. It’s still not too late for you to subscribe until we sell out, so if you want to support the Mudhutter, or you forgot to renew because you’ve been on a big fancy foreign holiday, then click here to subscribe
Alternatively, you can catch us at the game tomorrow, on the bridge or opposite Whelan’s Bar. Or you can pick up a copy from any of the following fine establishments: Wigan Central, The Brickmakers, The Anvil, Real Crafty Bar and Waterstones in the Grand Arcade.
